Whining, poor rendering, CRASH!!!!!

When I run 3DMark2001 on my Athlon 1.2@1.4, I hear a rather quiet, high-pitched whine coming from somewhere in the case (can't tell where). Soon, I start getting rendering errors, then, eventually, the computer crashes. I don't have the FSB upped at all (133MHz). I'm using a 300W Enlight PSU, a Taisol HS w/ Delta 30CFM fan, and an Epox 8K7A. Can anybody tell me what the problem may be?

Do you think it's a PSU problem? I turned DOWN the DDR and CPU voltages, and the problem has disappeared! I'll try going higher...

it's all i've tried... people say it's a good test of stability...

now, i run it at ~1460 (133x11) with Vcore at 1.98, and the program (not the computer) crashes... what does this mean? I thought that a CPU error would just cause the whole computer to crash... Prime95 also crashes (quickly, in fact)....
