When I read the posts here it seems to be that there are commonalities with regard to people whining about why their computers (or as I like to call them composters) don't work.

1) They buy a low cost PSU - or as they call them in places where the US is at war, IED's

2) They buy a motherboard based on its most important feature - ATX Form Factor.

3) Last but not least, getting the smallest size and cheapest and least thought out case to house the most output of heat by the high cost components whilst at the same time offering even less ventilation afforded to someone having been found placing an aforementioned IED during waterboarding.

Really?

You just have to love the "I've got a 4770K with an R9 290X and 2666 RAM with a 1 TB Samsung EVO SSD, and it doesn't work because Windows is rubbish" crowd, when they cheap out on everything that they don't think will give them bragging rights on the forum - or what the equally stupid are not willing to ask about with regard to what they are not mentioning.

General hardware is primarily a help forum. If you want to create a constructive thread about these issues to better help new builders make good decisions, please do so.🙂 However a general whining-about-whining thread is not really appropriate here; that would be better suited for Off Topic

The stories I've been reading tonight have been particularly cool. Three thumbs up, would read again.

Experienced.

Not very, since:

1. The number of people going to forums to ask about their PSUs blowing up is very low. Most figure it out on their own by the sparking and smoking.
2. Motherboards pretty much either work or they don't.
3. Most can figure out their cases don't have enough ventilation by their CPU and GPU fans going all out.

You'd actually have to work at being more wrong. Here, let me try:

1. They have the wrong case material.
2. Gravitational constant is off.
3. NOT ENOUGH CABLE RISERS!
