While playing a full-screen game, can I use my 2nd monitor at all for other stuff?

On my Windows XP machine I have two monitors, however whenever I'm playing a fullscreen game I can't use my 2nd monitor. I can usually get the mouse cursor over to the 2nd monitor but if I click it will immediately take me out of the game.

I'm using a 6800GT video card in case that matters.

Can anybody help me out?

you're out of luck...will happen with any 3d app that needs focus, on any gfx card...
