That's actually pretty good. I've always wanted to play the uke. In fact, I'm thinking about building a nice maple body/neck (don't know about fretboard) solid-body electric uke, with either humbucker or lipstick pickup. The best part about that is, you can actually run it through several filters and make it sound more or less like you're playing a bass (according to my audiophile friend). Can you imagine some guy on a little uke playing deep, chugging basslines out of something industrial?

The problem is that EVERYONE plays the guitar. It's cool to see other instruments being played in an informal setting.

This coming from the same guy who talks about art and philosophy and doing whatever makes you happy. Anytime I hear someone complain that others have too much time on their hands, I think what they are really saying is "I wish I was that original and talented"

I don't see where that statement is such a put-down like everyone is reacting to it, but ok. I didn't see that I had the negative tone I'm being accused of. You'll note my replies were all smileys and light-hearted. I said from my first response that it was impressive. *shrug*

Ukuleles you have 4 strings to work with and what he does with only 4 strings is amazing
