I bet if that had been on guitar, you wouldn't have been complaining...

I think it's pretty cool...

I'm not really complaining, it was beautifully played. Just makes me wonder about some guy sitting around one day going, "you know what would be really cool? playing thrashing songs on a ukulele." I mean, how many drugs does it take to reach that point?

How many musicians do you know? That's about the norm for all the ones that I do.

Odds are that guy plays guitar as well (if not as his "primary" instrument) and was just screwing around with his ukelele and said to himself "you know what'd be cool? While my guitart gently weeps on this thing!"

I don't know any that play ukulele. Most of the ones I know are classical musicians, they tend not to experiment so far afield.

Some people just have too much time on their hands.

So....someone plays a Beatles song on the ukelele and you find you must deride them and accuse them of drug abuse?

awesome! I just started guitar lessons this past saturday, and would love to be able to play that eventually.

(I'm assuming that ukulele's are just small guitars)

He's a great player, that was very beautiful. :)

I've seen this one guy play ACDC songs on an electric (that's right electric) uke. It was so awesome. :D

This coming from the same guy who talks about art and philosophy and doing whatever makes you happy. Anytime I hear someone complain that others have too much time on their hands, I think what they are really saying is "I wish I was that original and talented"
