Well I finished it 🙂 Not as fast as I was anticipating, after a 13 minute first mile (too many damn people) i picked it up and ran a bunch of miles at about ~8:15 - started to slow down about mile 17, by mile 20 my quads, knees, handstrings, everything was hurting real bad - I dont think it was the wall though, because I had been plenty of energy, I just was hurting too bad..I had to walk for some of the way, off and on, did a little slow shuffle the rest of the way - ran the last mile though, hehe. Finished in 4:11:13 - my # is 2581
That's less than 10mins per mile for 26 miles. I know you may not be impressed with the results, but as someone who runs 3-4 times a week myself, I have nothing but respect for anyone who completes a marathon.
