started reading the newegg reviews of z87 boards
the asus pro the gigabyte ud3 4 all didnt get as good reviews as this MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Socket LGA
I dont overclock or play games I surf do email facebook
I mostly image edit
is this an appropriate board
the reviews are stellar

My knowledge of motherboard is limited, but if you do not play games or overclock then I don't think you need a z87. You could get a cheaper, less feature rich chipset if you only edit images and surf the web. Not quite sure which one, though, as I am into gaming and only really pay attention to z87

Or go for a lower spec'd board if you want the features of Z87. Something like the D3H or HD3? Save some money and still get a quality board.
