My recently aquired new version of CuBase does unfortunately not run with my current Win2K, thus I have to upgrade to XP. But which version to install?
Luckily, my job has offered to give me one. I have the choice between Home, Pro, Corporation and Media Center.
I have tried Home and Pro. Pro is OK, but I am less than impressed with Home. I have not tried Corp or Media Center.
Any tips?

well, MCE is a waste if this is your work computer. that has all these features for running tv shows and doing pictures and movies and stuff. i would just stick with Pro. then, just switch off the stupid visual settings, and it will be hard to tell you arent still using 2K.

There is no such thing as "XP Corporation Edition"

In a corporate enviroment XP Professional is typically purchased as part of a Volume License Agreement; but it's still just XP Pro (only a little differant licensing).

theman has it right; XP Pro would be the way to go.

Get XP Professional.

MCE has issues with some of the functions that business computers often need.

Thanks for the replies.
It is my private computer, which I use for playing and making music (my job), games, office work and a lot of other stuff. Still Pro instead of MC?

If you plan on using the MCE components than go with MCE; otherwise yes still go with Pro.
