Which XP to get?

I've been slowly buyinf parts for my new build and was looking at wether or not to get XP Home or MCE. I'm going to mostly be playing games but I was wondering if the extra media features of MCE were worth it. I was thinking of using my pc with my TV sometime next year if I have my own apt to make things easier but will just getting a TV tuner with XP be easier/cheaper? Also, are there any game performance differences between the two?
 
I think it really depens i use a tv tunner card with my PC and its just fine. Oh and look for a good 3rd party software for the card usally the software that comes with the card is not that great.
