Which would you rather have?

Trying to make a decision. I can get a high end video card, or i can get a 6600gt and a 2005 fp...

Which would you choose?

that depends on what you currently have...

personally I'd go 6600gt and 2005 fp because video cards depreciate too quickly

sold my 9800 pro. I have a 3400 claw, and i am getting a pcie mobo and a nice gig of ram.

Would I have to pay? If so, 6600GT so I can save it until the rest of my computer gets upgraded to be able to use it. If not, the 2005fp because it would actually benefit me.

I have a 21" CRT that is capable of higher resolution and has significantly more display area.

I'll take a video card (but it has to be better than my 6800).

Personally I could never live with the 2005FPW because I need at least 1200 vertical pixels (online poker). I'd much rather have a 2001FP.

decided that since i have a nice crt, i will just get the 7800gt bundle with the mobo from the egg. then 1 gig of value ram, and a processor off of the fs forum. Thanks~

neither, I'd rather have the 2405W... And to answer your question, I'd rather have the 2405W over a nice video card anyday.

What kind of fscking poker are you playing? Don't they assume people are playing on 800X600 resolution office machines?

I don't game. I haven't even utilized my Radeon 7200 or whatever it is in probably 2 years.

I'm like Viper GTS... my 21" monitor tops out at 1920*1440*85hz. So I'd pick a 7800GTX, but I need to upgrade my mobo and proc first, I'm still on AGP/SocketA =(

I would get the monitor just because I personally don't game that much and don't need a high end video card.

I'd absolutely opt for the high-end video card, mostly because I don't consider the 2005fp to be particularly high-end.
