i have the choice of 3 video cards (they all cost the same)... which would you pick? and which (if any) would you avoid?

they are all pci express

radeon x1600xt 256mb
geforce 6800gt
geforce 7600gs


as a side question... how do the 7600gs and 7600gt compare? is the gt just a little faster? or a big increase?.... same with the 6800 and 6800gt? how do they compare?
 
6800gt...it's the fastest of the ones that you listed....I'm currently using one and it's pretty good.


the 6800gt and 7600gt are both considerably faster than their lower clocked siblings, the 7600gt is a bit faster than a 6800gt....

it pretty much goes like this

7600GS> 6800> 6800GT> 7600GT
