Just a quickie..

It's gunna be for work, mild gaming (MMORPG) and the usual stuff.

The options are..

1) Acer Aspire 2001WLCi - Link

2) Novatech Performer XL P4 3.0GHz - Link (The third one on the right hand side)

3) Acer Aspire 1501LCE - Link

Quick feedback on which you would pick.

Anyone who know's any other UK retailers who could help me out - would be much appreciated :)

Kthx

The Acer Aspire 1501LCE has the best graphics (Radeon 9600) and fastest CPU (A64 3000+), though it needs another 256 - 512 MB RAM to be perfect.

Acer's been around forever and is a decent second-tier company (below IBM, Toshiba, Dell). I've never heard of Novatech.

Read The Friendly Articles ;) on the main AT website, the GF is better than the R 9200 IIRC, but certainly worse than R 9600.

Ordered a HDD from Novatech, no problems whatsoever.
