Either one should be fine. Depends on what sound solution you prefer if that even matters. I have the EX38-DS4 which is basically a carbon copy of the X48-DS4. I have been really happy with it.

Maybe bias but I just bought the DS4 last night.

Bias also cause I hate Asus. f'd me too many times.

Gigabyte board has ps2 keyboard AND mouse which I prefer and dual lan, officially supports DDR2 1200 as opposed to having to OC.

Gigabyte board rates a 5 with 27 reviews, the Asus rates a 5 but with only 3 reviews.
