Let's say you've been dating a girl for a while, and you were practically engaged

Would you choose to move in with her now or wait till your married first?

Please feel free to explain why.

Move in first. You never know if you want to spend the rest of your life wiht someone until you've lived together.

my now Fiancee, then BF were dating for a little over a year before we decided to move in together.
that was 3 years ago.
It was the best thing i ever did.
You truly dont know someone until you live with them. I honestly think that if we had waited to move in together after we were married, it would have been very rough.
Now, after learning each others quirks and idocincocies, etc, we know what we are getting into by getting married.

Not only that, but the past four years have been the best ones of my life so far!

After, simply because statistics show that cohabiting women are 80% more likely to separate or divorce than are women who have not lived with their spouses before marriage

I'd say move in with her first. Count the number of holes punched in the walls after one year. If it's less than 5, it's love.

If you were already talking about being married and engaged and it was just a matter of time, then I'd say yes definitely. You will learn a lot more about the person after you mov ein together. Some might be good and some might be bad, but would you really want to wait until after you were married and bought a house and then find out it wasn't going to work?

Especially if you are both together every night anyway, then why go through the formality of having 2 rents and 2 places to do everything.

I wouldn't live with someone before getting married. It's completely a personal reason. I'm not saying no one else should, I just won't. Doesn't mean I won't stay all night, but no living together.

I thought I found the right girl and then we moved into gether, and it didnt really work out. So it was better to find that out before you marry.

Are you thinking of asking me to move in Jero!? :Q

You could have been a little more subtle about it...

He probably caught a glimpse of your avatar and got a little excited.

It happens.

A lot.

To me.

Because statistics can't lie, of course.
