Which would you buy? 2007 3 series coupe, or current 330 CI?

I test drove the new one this weekend. Not very impressive from luxury point of view, though sporty, I must say.
Also, check out the IS, it's butter smooth and nice interior, much better car for everyday commuting.
Don't get the idrive navi, it's retarded. Actually the only 3 series I would consider is the one without navi, at least you get normal stereo controls. In the one with navi, they have the slot for navigation dvd disk that you will never use unless, but they don't have regular controls for tuning the stereo. What was BMW thinking?
Overall I'd say the old one, though who knows how bad the resale is gonna suffer due to it being older model.
 
I can't believe this is really as poll... new 3 series vs. the old one? Come on. You're taking what was a pretty good looking BMW with a wonderful record of reliability and drivability to a new (albeit with very good drivability and enjoyment tests in the magazines) replacement that is one of, I'm sorry to say, the ugliest cars in the market. I wouldn't be suprised in 10 years if the old one isn't worth twice what the 2007 will be. Go for the 330ci - what a great car.

This coming from someone who is definitely not a BMW fan and who would pick the G35 over the 330 any day.

Have you driven it? It smokes the BMW in looks and power. It's an awesome car.
