We live in an apartment and our neighbor below complains a lot about the noise coming from our apartment. We usually have many people over at a time, and she can hear laughter, people walking around, etc.
Question is: is it quieter (for the apartment below us) if we have carpet or tile? We have an option of perhaps moving to another apartment or perhaps even getting rid of the carpet we currently have and laying tiles.
Anybody know?
