Ok well i have a choice untill i buy a new sound card. I can use my onboard soiund AC97 on my n force 3 mobo or a sound blaster Live 5.1 sound card i have whihc wouyld sound better and whihc would be over all better to use. i listen to alot of music and do alot of gaming .
 
No brainer...go with the SB live if you are gonna spend the money. The onboard sound is ok if you don't do to much gaming or listening to music.
