Which Wireless-G router should I buy?

Netgear has the richest firmware, and thus more Menu capacity.

If you need a Router and a card D-Link bundle are usually inexpensive.

Which one has the fastest performance? Sometimes I need to transfer large files from my basement to my sister's rooM! Using my current 11mb wireless, the files transfer half way and die..

D-Link has a 108MHz bundle that can be found for less than $50.

If you work at close distance in a Clean (2.4GHz signal wise) environment, it can achieve about 40Mb/sec. (5MB/sec.) transfer rate.

Well as I said earlier, it's going from my sister's room (usually door closed), down to my basement (usually door closed).... there's a lot of traffic to go through.. with our current network, it's "okay" but sometimes she experiences lag outs and I simply cannot transfer files from her computer to mine wirelessly :\

And it's too bad I live in Canada, $50US shipped for a bundle is CRAZY. I would pay someone $50US right now 🙂
