Which wireless card for (really) old laptop?

Recently I decided to network my laptop to the PC. I got a Siemens Slipstream router and a D-Link DWL 650+ card. Unfortunately when I hooked it all up to my Dell Latitude with its P-166 it wouldn't work. The specs on the DWL 650+ said I needed at least a P2-300. I've tried to look for cards that would work with this old guy but I haven't been able to find any or even any specs that would rule them out. Is there such a card or do I have to get a new laptop? Thanks.

you should still be able to use the card. maybe it's not configured properly. i doubt that there's a chip on the card that checks the proc speed and turns off if it's under 300mhz. system requirements usually don't mean a thing.
