Which wired optical mouse do you use? The one I bought is too small.

I have big hands. Big feet too. You know what that means?

Correct. I wear big gloves and big shoes. 😉

Anyway, I purchased this mouse about a week ago.

It works well, but is too small for my hand...I find myself having to strangle the damn thing to keep it from slipping out of my hand.

I have seen the bigger mice, but they have 4,309 buttons on the side that I won't use and WILL hit with my clumsy fingers.

Recommend a wired optical mouse for me, please. Oh, it's for GAMING, man! 😀

might want to get the microsoft explorer. a bit bigger than that, and the only extra buttons it has are two right next to where your thumb rests (you can use em for forward/backward in IE for example)

I think you need to stop exagerating... Last time i checked, mice only had 4,308 buttons.

I have big hands also and the only one I found that is really comfortable is the MX700, cordless and rechargeable. A great mouse, very smooth. Just watch for some hot deals on it and you can get it for less than $40.

The only diff b/t the MX500 and MX700 is that the 700 is cordless, correct?

I may go get the 500, then...don't really dig that cordless stuff. <--old skool jive turkey

ROFL! Love the new QOTW. 🙂

I use a Logitech Wheelmouse Optical SE personally. I'm finding it a little small, but still manageable. MX500 is definitely next on my list though! 😀

I'll third or whatever we're up to now the MX500. I got one for Christmas and I love it. The buttons are small enough that I don't think you'll hit them accidentally, plus they're up above the little thumb groove on the left side of the mouse. All in all, a great mouse. I love mine.

I use the MX700 and never thought cordless would ever work this well!!!

I was especially wary about battery replacement, but the MX700 beats that with the BUILT-IN recharger. Just stick it in it's cradle when not in use. It really is sweet!

I still love my good old trusty Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer

Hi guys, just got home from Worst Buy. ^^^I quoted NewSc2 b/c that's the mouse I wound up buying. It felt "just that much better" in my palm than the MX500 did. Also, they had a $10 MIR on it...that helped.

They had a $20 MIR on the MX700, but what worries me about cordless is the batts going dead in the middle of something...also, those NiCad batts have a memory to them....*shrug* the 500 and 700 DID feel very nice, though.

The Intellimouse Explorer is a tad bit longer than the Logitecs...it just feels better.

Thank you for all the advice. 🙂

On top of that, I didn't even need to load the software to make the Previous and Next buttons work in IE!!! 😀 Kewwwwwwl. 😎

Unfortunatley you're only running at half the DPI resolution of the Logitechs (400 vs 800) 😉

Honestly, I think the MX500/700 LOOKS better than the Intellimouse...but you don't buy a mouse for looks alone. At least I don't. You do that with women. Ahahaha!!! I crack me up! 😀

The real test will come in a few minutes when I load up some UT2K3. 😀

I use this at home (Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse), and this for my laptop (Logitech Optical Mini).

I have fat hands and digits, and the MS mouse works nice. The Logitech is small, but designed to be, which is nice for lugging around in my laptop backpack...
