I can't think of the name, but it's got boobies in it.

Maybe I'll check when I get home, but probably not.

Spirit.

Its the skin I've been using since it came out practically, and I've never seen a skin that "wow"d me enough to make me switch.

Modern. I tried Classic to 'save resources', but came to two realizations:

1) It's fugly. I'm not much on aesthetics, but it _really_ bugs me.
2) Any modern system is more than powerful enough to have Winamp running while playing a game.

That might be a winner for my new skin, but have you seen MM3? Try it. It's phenomenal.

Yup, that's definitely the one. It's a shame that there isn't a version that can be minimized like the classic version, into a tiny bar, so I use the classic version, because otherwise I'd have to look at my desktop everytime I want to see what's playing, and I hardly use the desktop.

That's what I switched from, from MM3, to Spirit. Spirit is a truly nice skin, but as I mentioned before, I can't get it to minimize to the small form that classic can, and therefore I don't use either MM3 or Spirit anymore.

MM3 was the first skin I used back in whatever Winamp version it was that it came out, simply because I went to the skins page, hit most popular, and there it was. Good skin. Spirit just matches my desktop and stuff very well though, and nice & minimalistic. I actually have the taskbar on top and objectdock on the bottom so not much space for the thin MM3.

Edit: to be honest, its minimized most of the time, its just easy on the eyes when I go to change tracks or whatever.

I guess I'm the only one who thinks the MM3 skin is FUGLY. I prefer minimalistic skins (the spirit one does look nice). That being said, winamp somehow renders my CD/DVD drive on my laptop useless with some of the config files it auto installs so I avoid it.

What config files?

I cant remember the exact file name, but it conflicted with the drivers for my disc drive (Acer laptiop)

Can you at least describe what it looks like?

I went from MMD3 to Spirit. MMD3 was just to busy, Spirit is nice and simple. Plus, can't beat it on 50% opacity.

It wasn't the skin itself that screwed with my drive, it was Winamp. I liked the customization of winamp and remember using an Orb minimalistic skin, but no matter what skin I used, my drive could not write discs until I figured out something Winamp installed was conflicting with the driver. So I am forced to use the Windows Media Player toolbar deal to stream my music.

OMG!!! That might be what's happening to my drive! Maybe not, but now I'm thinking a reinstall without Winamp on my home computer might be in order. Wonder if it will work....

Agreed.

Better sound quality (at least to me) FTW.
