Which Win9x OS should I use?

Hey all. I let my Win9x machine go for about 2 months without a reformat, and it's in really, really bad shape. I'm gonna reformat it ASAP, but first I need to decide which OS to use.

My choices are as follows:

Windows 95 C
Windows 98 FE
Windows 98 SE
Windows ME

So, which one should I use? Here's some basic system info to help in the decision:

Pentium 3 866 MHz, overclocked to 1.1 GHz
IBM 30 GB IDE hard drive
384 MB RAM
D-Link DWL-120 USB 802.11b adapter
Sound Blaster PCI128 soundcard
Voodoo5 5500 AGP 3D card

Give Win2K a shot... your DOS games might work if you're lucky.

one choice, Win98SE.

Win95 is pretty old and WinME is bloated (even tho I had no problems with it), I'd pick Win98SE because it's the updated version. But you should try out Win2k, I love it.

I was thinking 98SE too, but I've heard it has a bug where after a certain number of days, it will crash. That's not really a good thing.

Of course, I'e heard that it's 40-some days, and I should reformat every month anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.

ME is a crapshoot IMHO. No benefits over 98SE and a few added annoyances.
95C is decent enough, though it's getting rather old now. I suppose I'd probably choose 98SE over the other options listed.

Um, that's only if you never reboot the thing.

Also, a crash isn't a permanent thing. A reboot fixes it.
