Which one of these two rigs would perform best in gaming?

ABIT "AV8" K8T800 Pro Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket 939 CPU
Athlon 64 3000+
GeForce 6600 GT AGP

ABIT "AG8" i915P Chipset Motherboard for Intel LGA775 CPU
Intel LGA 775 Pentium 4 520 2.8 GHz, 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, Hyper Threading Technology
GeForce 6600 GT PCX

Both have Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, 184 Pin 512MB(256MBx2) DDR PC-3200
Timings are 2-3-3-6

Click the "CPU" tab at top of page and read a few articles. The A64 is faster than a P4 3.2 in most games.

The AMD system easy, in games, an Athlon 64 2800+ is comparable to a 3.2Ghz P4 in gaming performance when both have the same vpu, but comparing a 2.8 and a 3000+ just doesnt make sense.
