Which Wide Receivers Would You Choose? Fantasy Football

I'm just a silly little girl trying to play against some manly men in Fantasy Football. If I win this week, I will go to the playoffs!!!!!!

This week I have a really tough matchup against the best team in the league. I'm off to a good start with McNabb and Westbrook already pulling in some huge numbers. I have quite a few Wide Receivers to pick from, but I'm not sure who to go with. Please help!

Scoring breakdown: 1 point per reception, 1 point per 10 yards receiving/rushing, 6 points per touchdown, 1 point per 20 kickoff/punt return yards

1) Lance Moore (proj 12) - My opponent is playing Drew Brees, so even though Moore's projection isn't too high, I want to play him to offset Bree's potential. Since we get 1 point per reception, a 6 catch 80 yard effort will get me 14 points, while Brees would only get 3 points (1 point per 25 yards throwing).

2) Randy Moss (proj 16) - Huge game last week, but that's what happens when you're playing against a sub-par defense (Miami) who decide to single cover one of the best. Now he's going against Pittsburgh, one of the best pass defenses. This seems like a possible risky option, especially with his low output leading up to last week's game.

3) T.J. Houshmandzadeh (proj 18) - He's Mr. Consistent, getting at least double digit numbers all but 3 games this year. Unfortunately his first meeting with Baltimore this year got him just 7 points, and that was with a healthy Palmer. Can Fitzpatrick get Housh the ball enough to be worthy of a start?

4) Bernard Berrian (proj 19) - Quite the high projection for a guy who has had 0, 7, and 3.5 points his last 3 weeks. He's all or nothing it seems, averaging over 20 points a game for 4 weeks straight previously. Last time he played against Chicago he had 20 points with a touchdown. But that was a high scoring fluke of a game, and even then he didn't score until the very end of the game. It's hard to rest all my confidence on a player who's done so little the last 3 weeks. There is hope however, "The coaching staff is looking to get him involved in other ways as he was used on a reverse and as a punt returner."

5) Torry Holt (proj 19) - Another optimistic projection for a player who hasn't done anything all year. His BEST effort was a 19 point game in week 2 where he bobble-caught a pass for a touchdown that was a total fluke. He's on one of the worst teams in the league and hard to count on as reliable option. Miami's defense is bad, but so are the Rams' quarterbacks.

6) Chad Johnson (proj 6) - I wouldn't touch this guy with a 10 foot poll at this rate. His preoccupation with his name seems to have sapped all his NFL talent this year. Although he did have some promise against Pittsburgh and Jacksonville (would have had 3 touchdowns if Fitzpatrick could throw a ball to a wide open Johnson 30 yards down field), he's really only good for about 7 points against a so-so defense, let alone one of the best in the game. Baltimore shut him down week 1, and they'll probably do it again this week. He probably can't do worst than his 1 reception for 22 yards during their first meeting, but I doubt he'll do much better.

Any thoughts? I think I'll start Moore no matter what, but I have 2 more slots to choose from. Thanks! <3

Oh geez, tough guy getting all manly on me! I didn't see a thread so I posted. Calm down little man!

Moss and TJ. I'm no FF expert, though. And Mo0o is right - next time, post it in the dedicated thread. Everyone has to follow the rules 🙂

That's a crazy good team. How many people in your league?

Berrian, Housh, Lance Moore

I'd probably start Moss over Lance Moore, but Moore has been hot lately, so I can't really bitch about that decision.

Ok guys. I have R. Moss, Lee Evans, Steve Smith (CAR) and Lance moore. Out of these 4, which 3 to start? All 4 blew up last week.
