Which way does the fan point (on a HSF)?

Heh,
Alright, here's my silly question of the night. On a HSF, what direction should the fan blow air, towards the heatsink or away from the heatsink?

It depends on the design of the heatsink. I think Alpha heatsinks usually blow air away. Everything else I've used blows air into the heatsink.
