basically diff variations of tag heuer carrera. disregard strap pattern/colour please.

im going to be wearing them for work (ie, in a suit) and my budget is around $2k, looking for a leather strap with a round dial. if you have other suggestions of watches let me know 🙂

First one is the best by far. I'm a white guy though, so you probably don't care about my opinion.

1 for sheer looks, but I'd go with 2 (trade in some aesthetics for added functionality)

3 is way too 2-tone, and 4 looks cheap by comparison.

yea, im definitely leaning towards 1 or 2...the problem with #1 is that its simplicity is almost feminine, like its too plain or something. #2 is a silver dial and might be too shiny.

i guess ill have to look at them at a store downtown to really decide

also lol@ KT

IMO, #1 is hands-down the nicest of the bunch. I don't care for all the cutesy little dials that nearly no one pays any attention to anyway...however, the twin time zone display is an add-on that doesn't appeal to me. The extra hand takes away from the clean look and easy read of an otherwise nice looking watch.

I prefer function over form in almost everything...and a watch should have a clean, easy-to-read dial so that a quick glance is all it takes to know the time.
