I have an MSI 745 Ultra running a cpu core voltage mod that adds .2v.
This bios is set to 1.652v which theoretically should give me 1.825v.
The bios reading says 1.775v.
MBM5 in windows says 1.71v.
Which do I believe? I am currently running 172 x 12 for 2064MHz. Just upping the voltage one or two tenths gets me to 2100-2150MHz, but I still want to stay below 1.80v.
Also the bios reading says my 3.3v reading is at 3.30v. MBM5 say 3.17v. I have an Allied dual fan 450-watt power supply which is replacing my burned up Antec 400-watt (R.I.P.). This motherboard boots into Windows and runs 185MHz solid in all 2D apps, but 3D apps crash at anything above 174MHz with a Geforce, 167MHz with any 9500-9700. I have a feeling that this is due to the low 3.3v rail, anyone now how to adjust it? No mods available for it that I could find, and I don't think the Allied power supply has adjustable pots.
