Which Vista To Run

Either, doesn't matter. Driver support is starting to get better but some companies (like nVidia) have still managed to do a terrible job.

I tried the 64 bit for a day, but had some driver issues. I think that the 64 bit is strict in what drivers you can use. I believe all drivers in vista 64 have to be signed, but in 32 bit they don't have to be. Not 100% sure about it though.
To me there is no reason to really run 64 bit right now unless you have 4+ gigs of ram and/or you have applications that actually need 64 bit registers.

Folks, there are several threads on this topic already. Please try to search first, so we can keep the noise on this forum down.

No... it's not like running x86 code on an Itanium. As far as I understand it, there isn't any emulation to do, it's just different modes... like real mode and protected mode back in the day.

No, they execute at full speed in hardware. You do have to worry about having 32-bit versions of all of the required libraries installed too, but one would assume that MS has something in place to help that along.

SO IAM GOING TO SEE ANY PERFORMANCE GAIN BY GOING 64 BIT AND THE ONLY THING I SHOULD MAKE SURE IS THE DRIVERS ARE SIGNED .

GOOD LORD. It depends on the application, right now, probably a minimal difference.
