Which virus is it?

I remember about 6 months ago a virus (maybe the Netsky) came and we got hit pretty hard. Our internet crawled and we had to patch many systems. Well, now it seems something is hitting us once again. Our internet is super slow and all I can think of is another virus. Any new viruses out that can make our connection to the internet slow?

All of our workstations have an anti-virus software along with our anti-virus appliance at the gateway that catches viruses via email.

There is a non-stop supply of new viruses 🙂 McAfee's daily DAT this morning contained over 60 new detections, for example. What antivirus vendor do you use, is your gateway router locked down to permit traffic only on ports you actually need, and have you identified any unusual processes running on the computers? Have you tried any alternate antivirus products to see if they detect a virus?
