Which Viewsonic monitor?

I have recently decided to buy a new LCD monitor. I currently use a 21" CRT monitor that is 5-6 years old and I use it mostly for gaming. I was planning on spending ~$250 and it looks like Viewsonic is the way to go, but should I get the VX922 or VX924? My instinct says to go with the higher number (newer?), but it looks like the 922 is actually faster...

Also, it looks like if I spend a little more I can get the VX2025wm. Would it be worth it? It would have a bigger screen-size, but it would be slower, right? Would the decrease in speed be noticeable?

I appreciate any and all advice as I know very little about LCD monitors (basically, only what I've researched in the past 24 hours).

I just got my VX2025WM yesterday and I'm absolutely in love with it. I don't think I'll ever be able to go back from widescreen. I didn't have any dead pixels, no backlight bleeding, or any other issues. The brightness and contrast is great, and I love watching movies on this thing. Games look great and I don't notice any ghosting.

Edit: The one thing I was surprised with is how BIG this thing really is. Its just awesome.
