which videocard should i get?

Well since we don't know what the 7800GTX 512MB will be like, and it's not out yet, I have to ask are you planning to buy this now, or soon?
 
If you ever plan on playing at 16x12 with max AA/AF, get the X1800XT when it comes out this month (please come out). Dont believe what people are say that the new 512mb version will be 600mhz core and 1800mhz memory, its just bs. Id say get the GTX for now just because its out and decently priced.

X1800XT 512 - $550

I believe the X1800XTs will drop in price $50 after a month or two from release if theres enough cards.
