+1...Never met a tech who formatted because of changing GPU manufacturers..its so stupid, its laughable...imagine the time, to install all your apps, settings, shares, games...PMSL!
 
OC the shit out of your CPU, then buy a 5850 on sale and OC that too. If you want even better frame rates, down the road you can add another 5850 and get a really impressive bump.
