Which video input is best?

I'm helping my friend find a TV and we're really confused about the different video inputs, component, s-video, which is better?

By componant do you mean RCA? From what I understand, the quality chain goes, coaxial -> RCA -> S-Video -> Componant (seperate cables just for video?)

I'm no expert keep in mind

COMPONENT (Y-Pr-Pb) is the best. (on DTV's or HDTV's this input will give you the opportunity to feed a DTV signal)

Svideo is just a step below that... but has no DTV benefits

Composite Video is SUCK. that is what cable and your vcr run off of
