That's what I was trying to get at... Maybe OP just wants to show off 2 cards in his shiny windowed case.

lol, what to show off with my rig ? i use it for my work not benchmarking.

2 are always better than 1 so 450's always perform better than single gtx 460 as per my knowledge.

Totally false! Educate your self :p

And stay away from GTX 450 SLI - i sent you a private message with a link to a review that shows how pitifully weak it is

I was just joking. :) But as others have shown you can get dual 460's for $300 with MIR, so it looks like that's your best option.

http://www.primeabgb.com/index.php

and

http://theitwares.com/

these are the only big shops in india where i can get the latest hardware.

460 1GB
http://www.theitwares.com/zotac-gef...ress-hdcp-ready-support-video-card-p-909.html

OR

6870
http://www.theitwares.com/r6870-2pm...support-video-card-with-eyefinity-p-1287.html

Those are the best options in your price range. The 460 stock for stock will be slower than the 6870. But the 460 is also cheaper and they are generally pretty good over clockers if your into that.

Yes 1 GPU will be plenty sufficient. And if you ever wanted to add a second card later when you've got some extra cash there's nothing preventing you from doing so.
