I got a spare rig around here and it isn't doing much.So I figured I'd make it into a Divx player. It's got everything it needs except a TV-Out card.I read an article over at Toms about a custom Divx player and the guy used an AIW 7500. Is this the only option? I'm looking for the cheapest possible card to do this with.
So,as the title says, what video cards support direct booting to the TV set?

Thanks:)

Most, if not all, graphics cards with tv-out can detect and boot on tv-out. I've owned Nvidia 3d prophet ddr/dvi, geforce 2 gts, ATI all-inwonder pro 16mb, radeon 64mb, radeon 8500, and radeon 9700, and all those were able to boot to tv.

make sure you use high grade S-Video cable to connect your video card to your TV. It'll make everything more vibrant and crisp (as opposed to the blurry and washed out look of RCA).
