I know that they dropped the 3dfx line. The card works and you get the video but it doesn't use the 3d chipsets to make the visual look good. I've heard all of Nvidia are supposed to work. From their Vanta series to their geforce. ATI's I'm sure works. Matrox does also.

Anybody know about the others, like the savage & etc.?

Virtually any remotely modern card is fully supported under XP.
Even 3dfx's cards are supported for 2D and DX, though they don't install OpegGL driver for them.

You can easily use Windows 2000 drivers for cards in any case.

You can go to the Windows Update Compatible Hardware and Software Web site to determine what Hardware is conmpatible with Windows 2000, you can search by manufacturer/product or type of hardware/software.

The Kyro I and II just had official WinXP drivers released a few days ago.
