ATI Radeon X1900XT 625MHZ 512MB 256BIT 1.45GHZ GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I VIVO HDTV Video Card

?

which is best bang for buck given the sale price on the higher-end ATi, and even-price GeForce...

ATI has'nt had a really good high end bang for your buck ard since the 9700 pro (awesome card in it's day).

GeForce 7800GT would be the way to go in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure he's looking at pretty much the highest end right now and is wanting to play games at like 1920 resolution...get the x1900xt as it's the same price as the 7800gtx and a simple overclock should put it beyond the x1900xtx.

X1900XT for sure.

It's significantly better than the 7800GTX 256 MB on average, & will OC to XTX speeds if desired 🙂
