Okay, I purchased everything for my new computer, and it all arrives tommorow. One part out of the whole system has not been purchased - The video card.
For some reason i cant figure out which one to get!!! Here are my parts:
P4 3.0c
1 gig Kingston HyperX DDR 400
Intel 865 PERLK
WD Raptor 36 Gig
Antec Sonata Case
LG DVD/CDRW
no video card 🙁
Im considering the 9800 non pro, but i dont want to spend more than 250 on a video card. I see the 9800 Pro's going for 300 on ebay (315 shipped), so if i see the 9800 np for 299.99, it doesnt seem like a good deal to me.
Parts are here at 10:00 tommorow morning, i need advice! 250 or less!
--almost forgot. I want to be able to play doom 3 when it comes out and still feel like my video card is current. That is my only requirement performance-wise
