Which video card to upgrade to for my new ASUS 24'' LED Monitor?!

I will be upgrading to a new ASUS 24'' LED Monitor (2ms response time, 1920x1080p). I will not be able to run games like I want to on it with just my HD 6870 Black Edition, so which card should I go for and sell my current 6870 Black Edition for, or keep it and crossfire another 6870?

Last time I will be asking, it's a hard decision so please don't flame me, cause it would mean more work for me selling my current like new XFX 6870 BE but if it's worth it it's worth it.

Like I said I will be playing at 1920x1080, I was thinking getting either another HD 6870 OC, GTX 570 Twin Frozr III Power Ed. or R6970 Lightning Edition.

It would cheaper to get another 6870 and crossfire. That will give you better performance than a 580 or any other single gpu card.

we are talking about a 10-30% better performance advantage for the 6870s in crossfire versus a single 580 that costs the same as ...two 6870s.

6870 should have no problems at that resolution. At least try it out before deciding.

Another HD 6870 is probably the best choice and cheapest.
