Since you say extreme gaming, a nvidia Geforce2 GTS card would be best. In the FS/FT forums, Untamo (nickname) sells a 32mb for $188 and a 64mb for $258 I believe. Those are much cheaper then if you were to buy it elsewhere. I think the lowest price for a 32mb GTS on Pricewatch is $235.

I am going to buy one very soon from him since I need a new video card. He has good references too. If you don't want to buy from him, just goto http://www.pricewatch.com, click Video Cards, then goto Geforce2 to find the lowest price.

Yes, the Untamo (or was it through DecoY?) deal is excellent. I got my GTS 32MB in 2 days for $187.5 shipped. The card works excellent and the ram OC's to 390MHz.

If you suffer from small wallet syndrome, you may want to consider a Voodoo 3 3000 PCI on sale at Bestbuy for $99.95 with a $30 mail in rebate from 3dfx. If you have a little more cash on hand, I would consider a Geforce 2 MX for a little over $100 or so. From the reviews I have read it sounds like the Guillemot Prophet MX is the best one, but it goes for $150 retail and between $130 and $140 on the net.
