Which video card to buy for business type machine

I am building annew system and I need to know which video card is the best for doing AutoCAD orientated stuff and 3d stuff

Dear Sir, as long as u have plenty of ram 128/256 MB, and the graphics card is around 32MB, it doesn't really matter. All of the cards on the market have about the same quality 2D quality which is the most relevant for you. Only the Voodoo 5500 stands out in 2D, and that's not that significant anyway. So, as long as it has around 32MB, even a good 16MB would probably do the trick.

Serious AutoCAD and 3-D rendering? Cards for stuff like that (i.e., cards with full OpenGL implementations rather than miniGL for games, etc.) cost more than US$1000 - is that what you mean?
