Im looking for a good AGP card for a system in progress. My work is pretty much business based, and I'll use the computer to watch DVDs, and other videos. The monitor is a 19" with max resolution of 1600X1280. Just looking for something temporary until the 6800 is more affordable.

P4 2.4, 1gb Ram, 120 SATA, DVD-RW

So you dont game? You dont need a highend card if you dont game. If all you do is business stuff and watch an occasional movie, theres no reason to get some high end 6800GT or higher. Id get the 6600GT or 6800NU The 6600GT and 6800NU are good middle range value cards, that pack enough punch, even for some gaming.

I dont know if they still do but monarchcomputer.com has had the evga 6600GT AGP for $128AR and Zipzoomfly has had the same for $124AR. (past tense, I didnt check to confirm).

Monarchcomputer.com has The XFX 6800NU AGP is $163 with a $20 rebate, so $143AR.
Zipzoomfly has the evga AGP 6800NU for $154AR.

Theres of course many different cards that are good for your purposes. ATI included. I dont feel like listing them all. :p
