Which video card is best for EA Sports Games?

ndee

Lifer
I have a Voodoo 3 2000 and I can't go with all Details MAX in NBA Live 2001, so I would like to know which card is best for these games? I would consider a Radeon or even a NV20 when it comes out. What do you guys think?

Thanx

Well, I like to play NHL2001 and my GTS works great.

Note, the GTS works great when the Celeron is @800. With the Celeron clocked down to 533, the cpu drastically limits gaming and I have to turn all the settings down.

On that note, I guess that you could pick up a GTS or Radeon if you got the money for it.

Not sure... I thought that the EA Sports games were GLIDE optimized, but now, that Glide died, what is it? OpenGL is my guess. Someone said that NBA Live 2000 works worse with a GF2 MX than with a Voodoo 3....
