Which video card has more pixel pipelines the 7xxx series nvidia or the x1900 series from Ati

# of pixel pipelines doesn't completely affect gpu performance. X1900XT has 16 pipelines, so does 1800s. The 1900s have 8 less pixel pipelines, but double the number of shader processors+high clocks = slightly better performance
if you would just research yourself for 2 minutes you would have found out....

technically speaking the 7800/7900 series has more pixel pipelines than the x1900 series but like tjpark1111 said that isn't the only thing that affects gpu performance since there is so much other stuff involved (pixel shaders, raw MHz, pipeline length...)

7900gtx/gt/7800gtx series have 24pipelines, 24shaders and 16 rops
x1900xt/xtx have 16 pipelines, 48 shaders, and 16 rops
7800gt has 20 pipes, 20 shaders and 16 rops
x1800 series have 16 pipelines, 16 shaders and 16 rops

yea, new games like oblivion rely heavily on shaders, the x1900 does well there
