Which video card for RTS games?

I have a 6600 GT and was looking to upgrade to one of these choices.

7900 GT lowest power consumption, least expensive ($260-$300)
7900 GTX ($450-$500)
X1900 XT high power consumption, loud, ($350-$400)

I mostly play BFME2 and other RTS games but also a little HL2, Far Cry, and GRAW. I?ve looked around for benchmarks using BFME2 but haven?t found any. The closest I?ve found are these benchmarks from Xbit

What game is BFME2 similar to in programming/performance?

I can't believe you would need more than the GT, especially since you can get them closer to $200....

It will be such a huge step up from the 6600GT that it should provide you with the same satisfaction that a 7900GTX or X1900xtx would give you as well...

The GT with its lower power requirements would probably be the easiest to integrate into your current system as well.

Anyone know what game BFME2 is similar to programming wise? Is it DirectX or OpenGL?

If you're playing it on a 6600gt right now, you should be happy with any of the cards you listed.

I second the gt.
