I'm trying to decide which card I should get an OEM Radeon DDR for $145, or an Aopen 32mb GeForce2 MX for $100. The Radeon sounds like a really great card, but it is $45 more than the GeForce. I can afford the extra $45, but I just want to know if it is worth it. I have an Athlon 650 (I have and AMD chipset mobo) and I dual boot Windows 2000/Windows 98, although I play games in Windows 98 only so I'm not worried about the Windows 2000 performance.

I think its up to you, I would usually recommand the radeon w/o a doubt since you said 45 dollar aint the problem. But nVidia just gobble up the 3dfx left ati along struggle, and more than likely alot of developer will only gear their game based on nvidia technology or do more tweaking patches on geforce cards. Radeon is better in every way when it puts up against the Geforce2 MX. I would rather not buy either and go to buy.com and grab a gladiac by elsa GTS for 127 bucks. DEAL? YES!
