Hi. I know there another thread out there on the same topic but I thought I'd start a new one since that person probably has different things in mind (s/he hasn't specified what s/he wants yet).
Here's what I want to be able to do:
1. hook up to a VCR
2. resolution at least 640*480. bigger -> better
3. full motion, at least 30 fps
4. stereo sound, maybe hifi or Dolby
5. full color (just in case)
The following would be nice but not necessary:
i. later maybe hook up to a DVD player
ii. TV-out (probably will cost more than I can pay)
I have a question: what quality is divx, and is it possible to capture from a VCR at about same quality?
I really need one asap, so please help me! Thanks.
