Which vid card to get Ati 9250 or 9600?

Currently My system is an 2200+ running in an old Ak31a shuttle mobo with a soon to be gig of ram and an ati 8500 64 meg vid card. I want to try to get a year or more out of my computer so I was thinking about upgrading my card so I could play a little bit of BF2. Now at compusa they have an AGP 9250 w256 megs of ram for 70 or an AGP 9600 with 256 for about 90 as well. Should I go with the 9250 or the 9600? I was thinking since the bottleneck is prolly my mobo the 9250 would be my best bet. What do you think?

Thanks!

The 9600 is faster but for a $20 difference I don't think it would be worth it. Then again, your 8500 is faster than the 9250, so essentially you would be paying to downgrade. You'd probably be better off saving your money for a complete upgrade six months from now.

EDIT: Oh, it's a 64MB 8500. Still, it's not going to be a great upgrade either way.
