Which version of WinAMP is the best or least buggie

I searched for it on google, and thougth I downlaoded it, but it says 2.91 now.

get the latest one. other than new things, like video, 2.xx series is pretty mature and stable.

Some one recommended Quintessential Player here in off topic a couple months ago. I started using it a month ago and I really like it. I liked it so much that I uninstalled WinAmp.

Give it a try.

foobar is progressing and people have coded different 'looks' for foobar. Really impressive and the seek bar finally works.

Hate to cut in on someone elses thread but what's so great about winamp anyway? I dl'd it a few months ago (not sure which version) and just didn't really get what the big deal was. From the way I've hear people rave about it I was expecting it to automaticly play whatever song I wanted to hear while it played with my balls or something. Maybe I'm just missing something.

Lol, I just use wmp 8.0. The only real thing I liked better about winamp was it's smaller size (on the desktop). I dunno, must be missing something
