Which version of the ati silencer should I use?

Ok i have a 9800 pro that is on the 9800 xt pcb, it has the temperature monitoring chip and is flashed to a 9800 xt. here are some pics of my card:

My question is, is even though i only have 128MB of video ram, should I get the ati silencer version 3 because i have the 9800 xt PCB?

You will have to buy the 128mb cooler.

why? i would of thought since i have the 9800 xt pcb i would need the 9800 xt version of the cooler even though i have 128mb of ram.
